My Inspirational Story
From Commerce to Electronics to Mechanical Engineering - A story of passion, grit, and resilience
"Most people don't walk away when they are winning... I did!"
The Beginning - Commerce Faculty
My engineering degree wasn't handed to me; I had to fight for it across three cities: Cairo, Banha, and Alexandria.
It started at the Faculty of Commerce (Al-Azhar University), where I ranked 4th in my class. On paper, I was set. But I realized I was climbing the wrong ladder.
"I didn't want to account for value; I wanted to build it."
The Bold Decision - Taking the Road Less Traveled
So, I took a massive risk: I dropped out to start over at a Technical Institute in Banha.
"To many, it looked like a step back. To me, it was the only way forward."
The next two years were a bottleneck, not a bridge. The margin for error was zero. I needed near-perfection to qualify for Engineering.
The Triumph - Excellence Achieved
I fought for every mark, graduating 2nd in my class (Electronics Dept) with 96%.
Today - The Hybrid Engineer
Today, as a Mechanical Power Engineering student at Alexandria University, I look back at that detour not as a delay, but as the forge that built my character.
"It made me a 'Hybrid' Engineer who speaks three languages"
The Three Languages I Speak
The Tech
I can solder a PCB and troubleshoot circuits (thanks to my Electronics background)
The Business
I understand costs and management (thanks to my year in Commerce)
The Engineering
I can design and analyze power systems (my current passion)
Boots on the Ground
Theory is great, but I prefer the site. Across my internships at Petrojet, Ezz Steel, Mantrac, and Enppi, I didn't just stand and watch.
I dug into preventive maintenance data to help reduce downtime losses by 15% at Petrojet
I got my hands dirty troubleshooting rolling mill equipment, boosting casting line yield by 5% at Ezz Steel
I learned that safety isn't a checklist; it's a culture (Enppi & APRC)
Beyond the Machine
Engineering is ultimately about serving people. Leading a blood donation campaign for 300+ people or managing a PR team in the Student Union taught me that:
"Technical skills get you the job, but people skills get the job done."
Future Management Leader
While I excel in engineering, my true passion lies in management and business leadership. I see engineering as a foundation, not a ceiling.
Strategic Vision
I don't just want to build machines—I want to build teams, strategies, and organizations. My cross-functional experience (Commerce, Electronics, Engineering) gives me a 360° business perspective that most engineers lack.
Operations & Project Management
Leading a 10-member PR team and organizing campaigns for 300+ people taught me that managing people is harder—and more rewarding—than managing machines. I thrive in coordinating resources, aligning goals, and delivering results under pressure.
MBA & Business Acumen
My ultimate goal is to pursue an MBA and transition into engineering management, operations, or consulting. I want to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy—where innovation meets profitability.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
I'm not just looking for a job—I'm looking to solve problems at scale. Whether it's optimizing a production line or launching a new product, I think like an owner, not an employee. I ask: "How does this impact the bottom line?"
Why hire me? Because I'm not just a mechanical engineer—I'm a future manager who understands both the shop floor and the boardroom. I bring technical depth, business thinking, and leadership potential that grows with your company.
